we begin by sitting alongside the people doing the work and watching how it's actually done. in most businesses the hours pile up in five places.
- registration. an order, a case or an enquiry is created in one place and typed in again somewhere else
- production and planning. the plan lives in a spreadsheet, and the status only in the head of the person who made it
- repeated tasks. picking, packing, labelling and exports. the same movements, every single time

we remove the step, we don't make it faster
we only automate what needs doing, looks the same every time, and exists in a form a machine can read. if one of those is missing, that's where we start. and we build it ourselves.

what we are often asked
do you build what you recommend yourself?
when it makes sense. we recommend the solution that fits your business: a standard product where one exists, something built for the purpose, or something you have to be able to run yourself. that we can build it is what makes the recommendation credible. not that we always do.
can you work on the systems we already have?
usually, yes. the cheapest step is almost always to remove a manual link between two systems you already pay for. replacement is the last resort, not the first.
what if our data isn't in order?
then we start there. information that lives in free text or an email thread can't be read by any machine. getting it registered properly is the first step.
why do so many ai projects fail to deliver?
because the work that was automated didn't need doing, because the process was never the same twice, or because nobody owned it once it was running. the choice of platform rarely decides the outcome.
